Ethan Long is an internationally recognized children's book author and illustrator with over 85 titles to his credit, which include the Publisher's Weekly starred Fright Club (Bloomsbury, 2015), illustrations for the Stick Dog/Cat series and the Theodor Seuss Geisel Award winning, Up, Tall and HIgh! . Chamelia and the New Kid in Class was a 2014 Children's Choice Honor Book. In the television world, he is the creator of the Emmy-Nominated animated preschool series Tasty Time With Zefronk, which aired daily on The Disney Channel. His Scribbles and Ink book series is in development for television with WGBH and TeamTo France and Chamelia is in development with Technicolor France.

Born and raised in Central Pennsylvania and Southern Connecticut, his childhood memories serve as inspiration for many of his drawings and stories. Since graduating in 1991 from Ringling College of Art and Design in Sarasota, Florida, Ethan has spent most of his days doing his three favorite things – making art, writing stories and spending time with his family. He is one of the hardest working and dedicated artists in the business.

He currently lives in beautiful and sunny Orlando, Florida, USA with his wife, Heather, his three children, Katherine, Cooper and Carson, and his dog, Auggie.
