Ethan will be appearing at the National Book Festival in Washington D.C. with Travis Foster, his co-author/illustrator of Give Me Back My Book (Chronicle, Publishing September 5, 2017). Travis and Ethan will be giving a presentation on Saturday and reading aloud from the book.
Ethan was invited to conduct a workshop, along with SCBWI Director Linda Shute, showing the ins and outs of writing from the perspective of an illustrator. Ryan Van Cleave, the director of Ringling's new BFA writing course, is hosting the event. Ringling College of Art and Design is located in Sarasota, FL, USA.
Look for Ethan at the Englewood Public Library in Denver, CO. He will be doing two presentations and reading from his books.
Ethan will be attending the Abitz Family Dinner in Tallahassee, FL at 6:30 PM on Wednesday April 12 and receiving the Florida Book Award Gold Medal for BIG CAT. He will also be attending a luncheon at the Governor's mansion on Thursday, April 13th at noon.
Ethan will be a keynote speaker at the Jacksonville Book Festival being held at the Jacksonville Public Library, at 303 N. Laura Street, Jacksonville, FL 32202.
Ethan will be presenting at the SCBWI event at the West Boynton Beach Library, 9451 S Jog Rd., Boynton Beach, FL 33437. He will discuss his children's book career and process.
Ethan will be in the Glenside Public Library District in Chicago, IL for a 4 day, 8 school visit.
