I’ve recently been invited to the Whirlikids Children’s Annual Book Festival at McIntyre’s Books in Pittsboro, NC (just south of Chapel Hill). From what I hear, it’s an exciting event, so it’ll be fun to actually get there and dig into the festivities.

Ethan will be participating as a panelist on the Creative Force Illustration panel to be held Thursday, November 2nd at 7PM. Location TBD

Ethan was invited to conduct a workshop, along with SCBWI Director Linda Shute, showing the ins and outs of writing from the perspective of an illustrator. It will be held at the Celebration Library (West Osceola Branch Library) located at 305 Campus St, Kissimmee, FL 34747. Email florida.scbwi.org to register.
Ethan will be appearing at the National Book Festival in Washington D.C. with Travis Foster, his co-author/illustrator of Give Me Back My Book (Chronicle, Publishing September 5, 2017). Travis and Ethan will be giving a presentation on Saturday and reading aloud from the book.
