My Creative Playground

During my children’s book and animation career (2001-Present) I’ve continued creating one-off art pieces and image series simply to keep the creative gears turning, without the pressure of building a full story around them. These pieces are my test lab for new ideas, colors, textures, compositions, and off-beat concepts. This collection represents just a small slice of the thousands I’ve created over the years.

This work is a wellspring of energy that fuels everything else: books, animation projects, commissions, and new directions I never see coming. It even fuels the “Fun & Games” section of this very website. It keeps me experimenting, evolving, and having fun!

Sure, you could call it a portfolio (eesh… dusty word), but it’s really more of a creative playground — my sandbox (a term coined by my old friend Travis Foster). No pitches, no approvals, no rules. Just me entertaining myself, chasing weird ideas, recycling concepts into new forms, and seeing what happens next. Enjoy the process!
