About this Website
Every day, a few dozen visitors wander in from all over the world to visit this site. Some arrive looking for a specific book, a Scribbles and Ink update, school visit information, or a particular illustration. Others simply stumble across the site and decide to explore.
What means the most to me isn’t the number of visitors—it’s the fact that so many of them stick around. They browse the books, revisit old projects, discover that I created Tasty Time with ZeFronk, wander through my Idea Lab, and sometimes even take a trip back to my Early Ethan years.
Over time, this site has become something more than I ever imagined. It’s a living, breathing creative ecosystem where every project nourishes the next. Books inspire drawings. Drawings spark new stories. Stories grow into animation. Experiments in my Idea Lab find their way into books, classrooms, and games. New ideas are constantly taking root while older ones continue to grow in unexpected ways. Rather than simply preserving my work, the site keeps it alive—less like an archive and more like tending a botanical garden.
To me, the website feels very much alive, which is why I keep a heartbeat on the welcome page.
There is also a hidden page on the site that can’t be reached by navigation. It contains a short passage I’ve returned to for many years.
It serves no practical purpose. It isn’t there to help people navigate or explain my work. It simply exists as a quiet reminder of the spirit—the soul—I hope runs through everything here.
So wherever you’re visiting from, thank you for stopping by. Knowing that people are reading, exploring, discovering connections, and spending a little time here makes all the years that went into building this little corner of the internet feel worthwhile.
