The Agent Life: Our Mission

My wife, Heather, and I have been Associate Agents at Tugeau 2 Art & Literary Agency since November 2022. We represent author-illustrators and illustrators who aspire to write their own stories and build lasting, fulfilling creative careers.

We love helping artists grow and, of course, adore getting them fun projects. We especially love when they write and create their own stories and those projects get acquired by a publisher. It’s a fun business!

We are currently closed for submissions and only bring someone new onto the team after a lengthy process. Even then, they have to be the right fit, and we have to be confident we can connect them and their work with publishers.

It’s a jungle out there, and we take bringing someone onto our team seriously. We want to be sure we can help them grow, find opportunities, and keep creating the work they want to make.
